What do I do when I get the CD?
You can use any type of CD player, MP3 player, media player on your computer or any type of audio system you have. You need to place your speakers outdoors on your roof (for best results) or out a window or balcony pointed upwards.
Will your Crow be Gone CD work on Australian Crows or is it just for a particular breed/location?
Our Crow be Gone CD has been successful with American Crows, Carrion Crows, Fish Crows, Hooded Crows, Little Crows, Ravens, Australian Ravens, Little Ravens, Rooks, Jackdaws and Magpies around the world.
Will Crow be Gone upset my neighbors?
Not at all. We use natural nature sounds to work for you. The sounds are not constant and repeat at various times throughout the CD. Often you won't hear any sounds at all and with your speakers pointed upward no one will even notice the sounds when they repeat at various times throughout the CD.
Will Crow be Gone bother my dog?
No. Dogs, Cats and other animals are not affected by Crow be Gone. One customer was having eggs stolen from their free range chickens by crows. Playing Crow be Gone didn't affect their laying of eggs and removed the crows.
Will Crow be Gone scare away Song Birds?
Absolutely not. Matter of fact we have been told by our customers that Crow be Gone has attracted more song birds to the area and in turn those additional song birds have also helped in keeping away crows.
Where should I place my speakers and how loud should I play the CD Crow be Gone?
This is one of the most important questions. The speakers must not be pointed at the problem area. Hide the speakers (behind a chimney, under eves or in a nearby tree) and point them straight up. It's best to place the speakers on the other side of your home away from the problem crow area. Crows are a very intelligent bird and wouldn't feel threatened by sound's coming from a speaker. Yet sounds that are faint like predator birds just arriving to the area is best. Also experience has shown that it need NOT be played LOUD to work. Our CD is specifically edited to DISTORT if played too loud. Remember birds have great hearing. For optimum performance the higher the speaker is off the ground the better.
The Crows are tearing up my bird feeder. Will your CD help us?
If you have a bird feeder and the crows have found it all we can suggest is put the bird feeder away for awhile. Do you blame them? They think your feeding them. After using our Crow be Gone CD you will be able to bring the bird feeder back for your song birds once the crows vacate and they will.
How long must I play the CD?
We suggest you press play and set the volume at a low setting if you have a repeat button its even better. The CD will play for about 1 hr. 15 min. JUST LET IT PLAY and then adjust volume as needed. Remember most of the time you will hear nothing. You may want to experiment with the volume setting till you find what works best. Some of our customers say they play Crow be Gone continuously a couple hours before sunset till after dark to prevent crows from roosting in the trees around their home. Then in the morning there are no crows cawing at the first sign of daylight.
How long before I get results with Crow be Gone?
Most of our customers report from 2-20 minutes till the area is clear and calm depending on the size of infestation. If and when they return you simply play the CD again. Some customers of Crow be Gone have indicated that they play it as background sounds because they are natural nature sounds.
